Welcome to White Blue Green Consulting. We have been working in the development sector for the past 25 years and have worked on over 125 multi-family, high rise, commercial, and light industrial projects.
White Blue Green Consulting is a technical integration specialist. We work on behalf of our clients, whether they be developers or development managers, to oversee the entire project as a functional system.

White Blue Green Consulting is a technical integration specialist. We work on behalf of our clients, whether they be developers or development managers, to oversee the entire project as a functional system. We connect and integrate all aspects of the development – mechanical, electrical, architectural, envelope, energy, structural, and general contractors and trades. Our focus is big picture, top-down. Our analysis is technical, and we specialize in understanding the technical weight of each issue and how it affects the final outcome based on the project requirements. White Blue Green Consulting sees the project as a functional system integrating all of its components.
Our approach is predicated on working with our clients from the initial stages of design so that we can ensure that the project will develop efficiently and cost effectively. This will guarantee that issues and potential problems are eliminated from the beginning resulting in a smoother construction process and stricter adherence to timelines and schedules. We help reduce the overall risk of the project not working. Not only do we identify functional issues and design related potential problems, but we also constantly focus on saving money by reducing materials, costs, carbon and waste. White Blue Green Consulting is hands-on during the entire construction process, helping to train trades and contractors and monitor on-site work. Then we oversee all final testing to certify that everything is functioning properly as designed and complies and adheres with all specifications and design parameters.
White Blue Green Consulting has worked on hundreds of projects throughout Western Canada. Our expertise in construction and sustainability and our years of experience has proven to be unique in the industry. Our experience in Energy Management, Testing and Balancing, Building Commissioning, Air Leakage Testing and Training, Building Envelope Design, Energy Modeling, and LEED consulting for multi-family, institutional, and light industrial gives us the confidence in guiding our clients through the development and construction process. "White Blue Green"?
Why White Blue Green as a company name? The name is in honour of planet earth and the importance of the elements that surround us every day.
- White represents the clouds above us. In the "Clouds" episode of the show, "Connected: The Hidden Science of Everything", Tapio Schneider explains that, without clouds covering the planet, the temperature of earth would be about 7 degrees hotter than present. That far exceeds the 1.5 degrees of warming described under the greenhouse gas targets. Therefore, White is important, as the white clouds protect planet earth from burning up.
- Blue stands for our oceans. The Mission Blue coalition is famous for saying No Blue, No Green. The oceans are hugely important to life on earth in so many ways. Without the oceans being the largest carbon sink on the entire planet, this day would not exist.
- Green Humans largely live on the green part of earth and we need to do more to preserve it, from halting deforestation to advancing carbon sequestration. But without the White and the Blue there really is no Green. And that is kind of the point: the planet may live on, but the occupants of the green may not.
