We at White Blue Green Consulting have been working in sustainability for many years. It all started with a project in south Ottawa, where the initial goal of reducing a home's energy bills turned into a full Passive Solar House project that cost very little to heat. The success of this first project inspired us over the decades.
We bring more than 25 years of experience in sustainability to our work at White Blue Green, working in British Columbia's development industry, working on LEED for Homes, LEED for Homes Midrise, Built Green, UBC REAP, and many other programs. In those years, we have worked with consulting teams on over 6,000,000 square feet of certified LEED projects. Plus countless more sustainable development in other sustainable building programs. We have seen more than a few successes.
In that time, there have been a lot of changes. When this all started, no one even mentioned Net Zero, now, it's either Net Zero or bust. And that is a great thing to see.
Honestly, it can feel like a daunting age. Technology brings us the world at our fingertips; with the click of a mouse, we can explore sprawling cities around the world and wonder, "How do we even begin to make this sustainable?" But as the old saying goes, Every journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. While I would love to snap my fingers and make the whole world a regenerative, sustainable society; but to do that we need to build momentum and leadership. That's where White Blue Green can help. We need to build momentum by building leadership in being a Regenerative Society.
In every respect, we work to provide opportunities to all people, irrespective of race, gender, or nationality. We strive to provide equal opportunities for growth and development in all areas of workplace development. White Blue Green respects everyone's role in society and looks to enhance equality in every regard.
We at White Blue Green want to acknowledge that we reside and operate on lands within the jurisdiction of the Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish, and Musqueam First Nations traditional territory. This acknowledgement reminds us of our responsibilities to our relationships and the ancestral lands on which we learn, share and live. ~ Troy Glasner, White Blue Green Consulting Inc.
